To be honest the quantities went to pot a bit, but the recipe was loosely:
1 x litre cheap and nasty gin
350g caster sugar
450g sloes, frozen and bashed to bust the skins
Bung everything in a sterilised jar, shake every day for 2-3 months then strain and bottle.
Mine’s got ages to go til it’s ready yet – I’m shaking it furiously to try and speed up the process a bit!
