White kitchen with brick tiles. Overdone…?
This Oslo apartment proves that with a couple of unexpected twists, a classic white kitchen can be so much more interesting.

A chocolate brown painted ceiling. Now that’s something you don’t see everyday! I never thought it’s something I’d advise, but it adds so much drama to this space and the ceilings are high enough to carry it off. I love the framed picture display too (nothing revolutionary, but not commonly seen above eye-level kitchen shelving). And that floor most definitely… eye-catching.
What do you think? How have you made your white kitchen more interesting?

Really like the ceiling colour and floor (great!) and the subtlety of the wall colour as well. Plus the placement of art, plus the open shelving, plus that pendant light. And those brick tiles! Yes, you’re right – put it all together and this works really well.
Clever, isn’t it! All wrong, but together… so right!
Not sure I would go for brown but love the concept. And the floor is gorgeous. Generally just a great kitchen
