For the record, I’m generally against decorating with dead stuff. I abhor those cow hide rugs (the curling edges turn my stomach) and I can’t be doing with taxidermy since I saw a stuffed stoat with fleas. So there’s a strong possibility I’ve completely lost the plot with this one…
I really disliked these when I first saw them, but somehow sheepskin-covered dining chairs are starting to look rather appealing to me.
What do you think?
Have the plunging temperatures done something to my mind or is this yet another symptom of my softening tastes?
Answers on a postcard…

I love it, I see it a lot in Scandinavian interiors which I guess is for practicality reasons as much as style. I think its a great way to soften the a modern space.
I like it on the office chair and am very tempted to do this to warm up while working at home. Not keen on the, on the dining chairs though. Maybe it’s just because I have my sensible mum hat on and am imagining them with food encrusted on them!
I m totally agree with you and it is indeed such a dilemma. I could not figure out how to go with it either!
I am too stilly to have those around!
Ooh, sorry but this is one I disagree with you on! Just love these Sheepskin throws over the dining chairs and such a great way to get a totally different look in the winter. I also love the hide rugs, although Reindeer would be my preference. Please believe me…I am a huge animal lover and prefer them alive than dead but many of these products are by-products from a bigger industry (eh, hem). :-)
Love the blog…keep up the great work!
