About

Welcome to my little patch of the world wide web!

I am a twenty-something country mouse turned city mouse living in leafy south London. I live and breathe all things interiors but I expect you’ve already worked that out! So, here are the answers to some frequently asked questions.

But I’ll leave you to work out the questions for yourself…

Modern Love, David Bowie.

Little Miss Sunshine, Billy Elliot, Ray. Anything that will really make me cry.

Gin and tonic with lots and lots of lime. I was introduced by Cath Kidston.

My puy lentils are renowned in certain circles. They taste a lot more interesting than they sound.

La Braderie in Lille. Hands down.

The Isles of Scilly.

Grey, grey and more grey.

The White Company, Lombok, Graham & Green, IKEA and Cockpit Arts in Holborn.

Fugu the goldfish in London and an English Pointer called Flo back at my parents’ house.

24/7 – I visibly flinch.

There’s always something – at the moment it’s a coffee table but that could change at any moment.

TV. I am addicted to Sky+

Louis Theroux.

Loud yawning on public transport and whistling anywhere. And a new entry: lazy people who tag their Pinterest images with a ‘.’

Various reasons, but mainly because it’s easier that way. However you can still contact me.

[...] What fascinates me is that nature can throw up such fantastically artistic patterns that wouldn’t look out of place on the wallpaper of a house in an interiors blog (though I’m sure I’ll be quickly corrected by my sister!). [...]
