B is for Birdcages

23 Sep

You don’t put a bird on it… you put a bird in it.
Or at least you used to, until we all started putting flowers, mirrors, pretty old shoes and other vintage bits and bobs in them…

Hahaha! That link is great – am I allowed to say that it does remind me of some designs that are currently around…? ;-) I do have a decorative birdcage at home which is – er – filled with Laduree boxes… :-D

Thanks for the huge compliment about the cushions, it was a lot of work but if everything works out it could be a big thing…for now they want me to make more for their shop which is great too.

    Have a great weekend xo

I know – the first time I saw it I looked around my flat and noticed just how much of a styling cliche it is! But I love it : )
I wondered about taking snaps of all my stuff with birds on it and posting them on the blog one day so we can all have a giggle! Good luck with your cushion project – extremely well deserved.
